About Yamunotri
Yamunotri Dham, the source of the sacred Yamuna river, is the first stop of the Char Dham Yatra. Located at 3,293m in the Garhwal Himalayas, the temple of Goddess Yamuna sits beside hot water springs of Surya Kund. Pilgrims trek 6 km from Janki Chatti to reach the shrine.
